World War II pilots and their ground crews introduced
the world to a new form of art work known as
Nose Art. They had names for their planes
like Lazy Daisy Mae and 7th Heaven and Black
Widow.
See this web site for samples
of some interesting nose art from WWII. http://www.skytamer.com/Airplane-Photos-Nose-Art.htm
Especially
now that Sport Pilot has become a reality, we
at PPCPilot.com think our planes are worthy
of names, too. Regrettably, there's not
much room for fancy artwork on most PPC airframes.
But there is room for us to put a name.
So
we're looking for the most clever names for
PPCs out there.
Submit
a name for your plane along with your username
and the model, make, and year of your craft
and the forum will compile a list of all the names
submitted.
